A serene “calm room” in a free school, featuring a large, rounded nook built into the wall, lined with plush, velvety cushions in soft teal, lemon, and cream tones. Inside the nook, small shelves hold tactile objects, puzzles, and fidget tools neatly arranged in shallow, rounded trays. The wooden floor transitions into a thick, cloud-like rug with a subtly textured surface, inviting bare feet. Gentle, indirect light glows from a concealed LED strip above the nook, complemented by soft daylight filtered through a frosted window, eliminating any harsh glare.
